For the next two months the guys will be in the studio putting the finishing touches on the new cd, Real Monsters Look Like Men. Get ready for some new twists on old styles. Typical DHB, which is to say, nothing typical about it.

Eddie King on harp and electric guitar adds a new sound to Dark Hollow. He is helping on the new cd soon to be finished.

Todd has come back from the Far East and we will be in the studio this week. Randall is finishing a couple of new tunes... .Makin' Pizza and Real Monsters Look Like Men. We are working on the cd art and hope to have it done by New Years.

During the months of November and December Randall and John will be mostly in the studio working on completing Randall's new CD. There will be various muscians helping out on this project and most of the songs are new. Randall says there will also be a couple of old numbers done in a different style. We usually do a few holiday gigs so keep an eye on our calendar.

Randall's new cd has been delayed again. The good news is there will be a few more new songs on it, and some surprises in style and musicians. We hope to have it finished by New Years. Listen to Writer's Block with Karen E. Reynolds, Sept. 26 on WDVX .com to hear a preview of some of the songs.

No, Randall is not leaving the band. He is working on a solo cd with some friends helping out on a few songs. Don't know what to expect yet but you can bet it will be pure unadulterated Randall. It should be completed by the end of August. Stay tuned for updates.

We've been writing new songs and reworking some old stuff. We're anxious to get into the studio with our new bass player, Gary Coleman and new keyboard player, George Charles. Our drummer, Todd Mierzwa, left the band in February and has up and gone to Tiawan. We may put our old drummer, Gene Beffre to work again on this new project. Since John Gillespie has been traveling about the country on his day job we have been focused on the creative side of things for the new CD.
